Welcome Caitie Campbell from the University of Alberta as a Research Intern

Caitie Campbell joined the Clinical Child and Adolescent team as a research intern on May 19, 2026. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with distinction from the University of Alberta and is pursuing a career in clinical psychology.

Her interests include mental health research and family-based therapeutic approaches, and she is excited to join the team and contribute to ongoing perinatal research. During her studies, Caitie’s research coursework focused on the neurobiological underpinnings and management of chronic pain. In addition, she gained experience in crisis support through her work as a distress line volunteer, where she assisted individuals experiencing emotional distress and crisis situations. She has had various positions working with women and children in a trauma informed setting.
