TREASURE Cost Action - Important scientific exchange in Cork, Ireland
TREASURE (CA22114) is a COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) research initiative focusing on maternal peripartum stress and its impact on children. To improve child development and promote child health throughout the lifespan, the project, led by Rafael A. Caparros-Gonzalez, aims to consolidate a multidisciplinary and international network of scientists, clinicians, students, stakeholders and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
The aim of gathering scientific evidence to reduce the impact of maternal peripartum stress on child development and to initiate an efficient implementation of the latter is pursued in regular online meetings of the working groups. Four of our Lab members are actively involved in the TREASURE COST Action. At this year's meeting of the research initiative in Cork from 20-21 June 2024, Anna-Lena Zietlow and Lea Krumpholtz contributed to the active and productive exchange on site in their roles as leaders of working groups and subgroups respectively. This important exchange was complemented by highly relevant keynote speeches by Sarah Kittel-Schneider and Marci Lobel. We are looking forward to working together with these highly ambitious members across disciplines and countries!
