TURTLE („Treasure data collection within families“)
TURTLE („Treasure data collection within families“)
Pregnancy and the first year with a baby are a special and sometimes challenging time. We want to understand what helps mothers and families navigate this period successfully from the perspectives of ,mothers, fathers and other family members. That’s why we need your help. Take part in our online survey and tell us about your experiences!
What is this about?
TURTLE investigates which social, cultural, and psychological factors help mothers navigate stressful periods from pregnancy through the first year after birth. By learning from the experiences of mothers, fathers, and other family members, we intend to identify ways to better support families during this important time in their lives.
Can you participate?
You’re in the right place if you
- are pregnant or have had a child in the last 12 months, or
- support a pregnant person or mother as a father, partner, or other family member.
You’re also welcome to participate together as parents or as a family. This means that each person fills out the survey on their own! The survey is available in German and English. Participants must be 18 years or older.
What can you expect?
- An online survey lasting about 25–30 minutes with open-ended questions about your experiences surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the first year with a baby, with space to describe in your own words what helped you
- Voluntary and anonymous
Why your participation matters:
We still know too little about stress related to childbirth and what really helps. Your experiences provide the foundation for better support services for expectant and new families.
