Dr. Max Ziem works as a postdoctoral researcher and teaching therapist in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. In his research to date, he has focused in particular on the extent to which expectations regarding social interactions are related to approach-avoidance motivation and depression. His research interests also include anxiety disorders and psychotherapy research, as well as the influence of mental imagery, emotion regulation, and basic psychological needs.
