Nick Michalek has been a research associate at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience since June 2024. He investigates the interplay between neural networks in social interaction and the underlying socio-affective and socio-cognitive processes such as empathy and perspective-taking. To this end, he uses functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
