Nato Lagidze returns to TU Dresden with DAAD Scholarship!
We are happy to share that Nato Lagidze has received a two-year doctoral scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through the Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees programme!
Nato is a PhD student in Psychology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Georgia), where she is supervised by Prof. Khatuna Martskvishvili. With the support of the DAAD scholarship, she will conduct part of her doctoral research with us at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Behavioural Neuroscience at TU Dresden, working with Prof. Philipp Kanske and Dr. Lara Puhlmann. Her doctoral research focuses on digital behavioral markers (DBMs) and their potential to help us better understand how people experience and express emotions. More broadly, her research interests include emotion regulation, psychological resilience, and the psychological processes involved in mental health and well-being.
Following a previous research stay at TU Dresden in 2025, Nato has returned to Dresden to continue her doctoral research and build on the collaboration between the two universities. The scholarship will support her research stays at TU Dresden between October 2026 and September 2028.
We're excited to have her back and look forward to the research ahead!
