Dr. Lara Puhlmann honoured with LIR Outreach Award for excellent Science Communication
Last week, Dr. Lara Puhlmann received the LIR Outreach Award 2025 for her contribution to the ARTE science documentary “Does Failure Make Us More Successful?”, part of the series “42 – The Answer to Almost Everything”. In the programme, she is interviewed as an expert and discusses research on stress, failure, and resilience in an accessible and engaging manner, making complex scientific findings understandable to a broad public audience. The award recognises outstanding contributions to science communication, with a particular emphasis on the successful translation of scientific research into practice. It is awarded biennially by the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research (LIR) and is endowed with €2,500 in research funding.
