Jan Haaker on our reactions to other peoples pain

We cordially invite you to an online lecture by Jan Haaker on "A functional view on how we respond to others’ pain: Empathy, threat learning and neuropeptides".

Jan Haaker heads the “Systems neuropharmacology of aversive learning” working group at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. His research focuses primarily on the mechanisms of affective learning and their consequences for human behavior. His focus is on fear and memory extinction and their modulation in social situations.

The lecture will take place on 11.11.25 13-14:00 CET in the realm of our lab meeting and is part of the EUTOPIA initiative.
