Reviewing three exciting events
We look back on a week full of interesting talks, discussions and conversations around the first conference of the European Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Treatment (EACLIPT).
Our team was involved in organizing exciting events:
- together with Jan Haaker Philipp Kanske organized the satellite symposium Psychopathology of the Social Brain with great talks by Sören Krach, Clare Margaret Eddy, Giorgia Silani, Bishmadev Chakrabarti, Antonia Hamilton, Birgit Derntl, Jan Haaker, Patricia Lockwood, Daniela Mier, Alessandro Grecucci und Neta Yitzhak
- as parts of the EACLIPT conference our Team chaired two symposia on the topics:
- 'Social interaction deficits in autism: Mechanisms and novel treatment developments' with talks by Philipp Kanske, Antonia Hamilton, Giorgia Silani, Tobias Schuwerk, and Hanna Thaler
- 'Narcissism from personality and clinical perspectives' with talks by Simon Mota, David Stolz, Anna Czarna, and Emanuel Jauk
- Finally, Miriam Akkermann and Philipp Kanske organized Ubiquity - New perspectives on experienced trauma - an installation and symposium dealing with scientific and artistic approaches to the consequences of traumatization; an event of the Jungen Akademie.
