We have two new staff members: Welcome Nicola Ngombe and Ingmar Heinig!

We are pleased to welcome two new lab members: Nicola Ngombe and Ingmar Heinig joined our team in January 2022.

Nicola completed her PhD at Aston University in Birmingham, UK, where she investigated the efficacy of interpersonal emotion regulation. Her research interests lie in the reciprocal influences of affective processes and dyadic interactions on one another.

After investigating expectancy-oriented exposure therapy for anxiety disorders in his PhD, Ingmar will continue to focus on psychotherapy-related topics in our group. He is, for example, interested in the role of socioaffective involvement for therapeutic change and the application of compassion-oriented interventions (also for therapists). In addition, he will be involved in patient-oriented teaching in the TU Dresden’s master's program in psychotherapy.
