Annalisa Palmisano holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy. She has expertise in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. Her doctoral studies delved into the neurophysiological correlates of perception and cognition by means of non-invasive brain stimulation. She spent a year as a visiting fellow at the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation of Harvard University, Boston (MA, USA) working on clinical trials in dementia patients. She joined the Chair of Lifespan Developmental Neuroscience of TU Dresden as a research associate in March 2023. She is also a member of the Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI) and an associate member of the MeMoSLAP Research unit.
