Kaan completed his master’s degree in Neurocognitive Psychology at the University of Oldenburg, where he worked on genetic variations in the human dopamine system and nicotine effects on cognitive control. Since June 2021, Kaan is working on his PhD at the cluster of excellence CeTI at the TU Dresden. His research focuses on age and individual differences in multisensory perception, particularly in augmented and virtual reality environments.
