Master's Degree in Psychology with focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy
The Master's Degree in Psychology with focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy is a psychology degree with focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. It has a modular structure over 4 semesters. In seven compulsory modules, you will acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills in diagnostics, conversation, disorder models, intervention procedures as well as clinical research methods and evaluation. In addition, we offer up to twelve elective compulsory modules, from which you can choose at least three modules in order to deepen your individual interests in subareas of clinical psychology or related disciplines, e.g. occupational fields. In order to facilitate the timely completion of the Master's thesis, the Institute's working groups design topics at an early stage that will be made available to students in the second semester. For final theses, you can also contact the professors and scientific staff of the institute directly at any time according to your interests. From winter term 2022/23, the master's degree program in psychology with a focus on clinical psychology and psychotherapy, which was set up in accordance with the reformed Psychotherapists Act, will begin at the TU Dresden and can be completed with the approbation. |
