Dear students,
If you have any questions about examinations, examination results and courses, you can use the call system in the waiting area of the Academic Affairs Office (Willersbau, A-wing, 2nd floor) to obtain an appointment ticket during the following periods:
Tuesday: 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Thursday: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
You have the following options for submitting final theses:
- Submission by mail (address: TU Dresden, Academic Affairs Office of the School of Sciences, 01062 Dresden)
- Arrangement of an individual submission deadline or
- by dropping it in the TU Dresden deadline mailbox.
For all other submissions (applications, registrations, proof of trial hours, etc.) you can also use the mailbox in the foyer of the Academic Affairs Office at any time.

Save time by sending us an email at studienbuero.mn@tu-dresden.de regarding the following matters
- Request certificates such as:
- Transcript of records
- BAföG form 5
- Progress report
- Certificate of graduation
- Certification of over 80% of credits achieved (for Master’s degree program applications) or other documents for applications
The following matters can also be easily addressed via email. Simply attach this form to your message.
- Submit an application, e.g.:
- For an examination certificate
- For withdrawal from examinations
- For registering an examined (pre)assignment
- Register a final thesis
! Please always use your TUD email address and indicate your degree pro-gram and enrollment number !
You can find information on maternity protection at a central location.

Examination management
Would you like to register directly online for (preliminary) examinations? Then use the HISQIS portal or selma.
(Independent) registration via HISQIS or selma is not possible for you? Then please use the appropriate form and send it by e-mail to the Academic Affairs Office.

Theses can be submitted outside office hours by appointment. You can also use the deadline mailbox on Helmholtzstraße between Tillich-Bau and Hülsse-Bau. This mailbox is emptied daily by the TU Dresden post office and the mail is stamped with a receipt stamp.
