Study requirements
Prerequisite:
• a university degree in the field of engineering sciences (preferably in Civil engineering),
• English proficiency IELTS level 6.0 or TOEFL ibt 79 points (Neu: 4.5 Points),
• proof of good knowledge in mathematics and mechanics. "Good" means that the marks in these field must be in the upper third of the respective grading scale.
Registration for the aptitude assessment or the NC selection process as well as application for admission to a degree program
Your degree program requires you to take part in an aptitude assessment or selection process. To do this, you must have the following documents ready. You will be informed after your online application in which form and deadline the documents will be requested from you (by post or online). Please make sure that your application number, which was assigned to you when applying online, is indicated in your application documents. If you are unable to apply via the selma portal before the deadline, you don’t need to include your application number.
Degree-specific information and documents
• Copy of the original and officially certified translation (German or English) of the degree certificate of the required first university degree including official transcript of records. If the first university degree is not yet available: Confirmation from the first university that at least 80% of the work required for the current university degree programme has been completed, as well as information on the current average grade for degree programmes with entry restrictions (form on the Admission Office website
• CV in tabular form
• Proof of academic attainments in the field of Mathematics and Mechanics
• Proof of language requirements
• Appropriate supporting documents on e.g. additional qualifications that show particular suitability
