For about 250 new international students the summer semester already started on March 31st with the traditional information day of TU Dresden's International Office.

The information day offered international first years an "info market" where they could find out more about the activities of various student initiatives and associations, the Culture Office, the Studentenwerk and the Career Service catering to the needs of international students. Afterwards, tutors guided them through the official welcome and an info presentation and later on also provided a campus tour to guarantee a great start into their studies. Prof. Krauthäuser, Vice-Rector for Academic and International Affairs, welcomed all new international students on behalf of the Rectorial Board.

Around 500 international students newly enrolled for the summer semester 2016 at TU Dresden; the biggest five groups come from China, the USA, Italy, Russia and France.
