Orientation Week for Neurodivergent Students 2026 – Sign Up Now!
A new life chapter at University is often marked by many new experiences, packed schedules, and constant interaction with new people. For some, that’s exactly what makes it exciting. For others, it quickly becomes too much.
For people on the autism spectrum, even the thought of so much hustle and bustle can be overwhelming. For those with ADHD, keeping up with the fast pace and arriving everywhere on time can be a challenge. And those with dyslexia who take significantly longer than others to read the course catalog may withdraw early on.
This is where CampusKompass Neurodivergence (CKN) comes in. This fall, the project run by SG 9.3 Diversity Management is offering an orientation week designed to make the (re)start of studies more structured, calmer, and easier to plan.
Participants can look forward to, among other things:
- a campus tour
- help with academic planning
- a group brunch
- workshops on learning strategies and neurodivergent empowerment
- Insights into key resources at TUD
If you identify as neurodivergent, are about to start your studies at TUD, or feel like a fresh start would do you good—then you’ve come to the right place!
The program is modeled after traditional orientation weeks but takes place in much smaller groups and accommodates different needs and paces. You can register via an online form on the CKN website. Participation is limited to 35 people. Of course, you’re also welcome to attend your faculty’s regular orientation week, since our program takes place the week prior.
📅 Date: September 28–October 2, 2026
💰 Participation is free!
