Public transport in Dresden is facing drastic cuts, which could also affect TUD members. The continued good accessibility of all TUD locations is an important goal of the university's mobility concept as part of the TUD's sustainability strategy. A functioning public transport system that is climate-friendly and socially acceptable is an important pillar of this.

So far, 30,000 people have signed the petition "For the preservation and strengthening of public transport services", sending a clear signal for strong public transport in Dresden. Signatures will continue to be collected until February 28 as a signal for good local public transport in order to support Dresden's buses, trains and ferries.
