Inspirations and more on this year’s Day of Teaching: Programme 2023
An inspiration gallery, teaching-learning hacks from various disciplines and 14 workshops from all areas of TU Dresden await participants on the Day of Teaching on 17 November 2023.
The Day of Teaching offers a space to highlight the value of teaching and the outstanding examples of excellent teaching and teaching support at TUD. "We are looking forward to strengthening the exchange between students and staff during the individual sessions and to give many stakeholders the opportunity to present their examples of teaching and teaching support structures," says Prof. Dr. Michael Kobel, Vice-Rector Adacemic Affairs.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Schönfeld lecture hall and various seminar rooms as well as the foyers in the Barkhausen Building will offer sufficient space for this exchange. The individual topics of the event can be found here:

Most inputs will be held in German, but the workshop on „Mixed Reality Classroom: Examples from Geomorphology“ will be conducted in English. In addition to each 30-minute session, you can participate in a coffee break in the foyer of the Barkhausen Building. Furthermore, the Day of Teaching also provides the framework for the second dialogue forum of the teaching strategy sTUDium 3.0, where the proposed solutions for the topics "Strengthening research-oriented teaching", "Accessibility of Open Educational Resources" and "Interdisciplinarity - exchange among teachers" will be discussed.
The focus of the day will be on all stakeholders who are actively involved in the development of teaching at TU Dresden. The Teaching Day is intended to serve as a platform for exchange and intends to present formats and ideas to enhance and develop new teaching-learning concepts.
