Study requirements
• First professionally qualifying university degree in business education or a related field of study recognized in Germany, or a degree from a state-run or state-recognized vocational academy in economics
• Proof of special aptitude in accordance with the aptitude assessment regulations
Note! Part-time study is only possible in discipline I.
German language requirements
International applicants and German applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification are kindly advised to read the requirements for German-language courses.
Registration for the aptitude assessment or the NC selection process as well as application for admission to a degree program
Your degree program requires you to take part in an aptitude assessment or selection process. To do this, you must have the following documents ready. You will be informed after your online application in which form and deadline the documents will be requested from you (by post or online). Please make sure that your application number, which was assigned to you when applying online, is indicated in your application documents. If you are unable to apply via the selma portal before the deadline, you don’t need to include your application number.
Degree-specific information and documents
• Application for the suitability assessment on the website of the faculty
• Copy of the original and officially certified translation (German or English) of the degree certificate of the required first university degree including official transcript of records. If the first university degree is not yet available: Confirmation from the first university that at least 80% of the work required for the current university degree programme has been completed, as well as information on the current average grade for degree programmes with entry restrictions (form on the Admission Office website
• Appropriate documents or certificates to prove the particular suitability
