• BA in the area(s) of Geoinformatics, Geodesy and Geoinformation, Cartography and Geomedia technology, Geography, Computer science or Media computer science or a comparable degree of
• English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (proof e.g. by a certificate of general or subject-specific university entrance qualification with language level B2, a certificate of a university degree completed entirely in English or a language certificate such as the TOEFL iBT 72 (Neww: 4.0) or IELTS (5.5)
• at least 55 credits (ECTS) in Mathematics, Computer science, Geoinformatics, Cartography, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing see Rules of Procedure for the Aptitude Test (Eignungsfeststellungsordnung)
Registration for the aptitude assessment or the NC selection process as well as application for admission to a degree program
Your degree program requires you to take part in an aptitude assessment or selection process. To do this, you must have the following documents ready. You will be informed after your online application in which form and deadline the documents will be requested from you (by post or online). Please make sure that your application number, which was assigned to you when applying online, is indicated in your application documents. If you are unable to apply via the selma portal before the deadline, you don’t need to include your application number.
Degree-specific information and documents
• Application for the suitability assessment on the webpage of the discipline
• Copy of the original and officially certified translation (German or English) of the degree certificate of the required first university degree including official transcript of records. If the first university degree is not yet available: Confirmation from the first university that at least 80% of the work required for the current university degree programme has been completed, as well as information on the current average grade for degree programmes with entry restrictions (form on the Admission Office website
• Proof of English language proficiency at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, e.g., through a certificate of general or subject-specific university entrance qualification with language level B2, a certificate of a university degree completed entirely in English, or a language certificate such as the TOEFL iBT 72 (New: 4.0) or IELTS (5.5)
• Educational background in tabular form
• Certificates and additional appropriate documents to prove professional prerequisites
