At the Chair of Business Management, esp. Sustainabili­ty Management and Environmental Accounting of the Faculty of Business and Economics, a seminar on "Sustainable Corporate Management" was offered in the summer semester 2020, in which students created posters that were to deal specifically with sustainability at the TU Dresden. The topic for the poster work was "Vision for a sustainable and digital TU Dresden in 2050". The students developed scenarios (business as usual, worst case, best case) and derived corresponding goals for a vision for a sustainable digital TU Dresden. They also had to illustrate how processes within the organization will change and what effects this will have on society. The work was done in teams of 4 and mainly online due to Covid-19. The submitted poster works consider, for example, the effects of digital learning but also the question of how digitization as a whole can be advanced at the TU Dresden in teaching as well as in administration. Another focus was seen by many works in the sustainable energy supply as a basis for digitization. In addition, topics from everyday student life, such as sustainable food in the refectory, life in dormitories, or even learning in the SLUB were brought into connection with digitization. Perhaps the first rather theoretical and visionary consideration of the topic will result in one or the other opportunity for in-depth study in the form of a bachelor's or master's thesis. The two supervising teachers, Prof. Remmer Sassen and Christoph Scope, see this intensive engagement of the students with their own everyday life at the TU Dresden and possible solutions based on the lecture "Sustainable Corporate Management" as an important element for their learning success as well as the sustainable further development of the campus.
