Images and Videos

When photos and images are used on the website, the author must be fully credited. This must be entered as "Copyright" in the relevant section. In the case of images from so-called stock archives, the information usually consists of the stock archive and the pseudonym of the author, e.g. PantherMedia / Andriy Popov. Student works and the image material they contain are also protected by copyright.
In the past, missing copyright information has led to legal disputes and associated costs for the TUD, as copyrights have been infringed. We therefore urge you to pay attention to the correct copyright information.
Images
The use of images is recommended in order to convey content vividly and to make it visually more appealing. These can be displayed on content pages in full or half width (if necessary with activated text flow). Information on image research for the website and on the selection of suitable image material can be found on our image material page.

Image gallery
If you want to display a large number of pictures (e.g. photos of an event), you can use the image gallery box. The image gallery box is available in two design variants. It is displayed in full width on content pages.

Image slider box with text
The image slider box with text is suitable for displaying several image-text combinations on content pages. For example, it is well suited for field reports, quotations, partners or for the presentation of work areas. In addition, the box offers the possibility of linking to further information and thus fulfils a shop window function similar to teasers. The image slider box with text is displayed in full width on content pages.
Videos
To include videos on content pages, please use the Video Box. The box can be maintained in full and half width (if necessary with activated text wrap) on content pages and displays videos from YouTube, Vimeo or Videocampus Sachsen.
