Description
The course was converted to an e-learning format on OPAL, which was to be expected in the past semester. What made this course stand out is that it incorporated many different elements to keep it interesting.
- Lecture snippets of 15 to 30 minutes interspersed with test questions, incorporating elements of knowledge activation (approx. 80 test questions in total)
- Inclusion of an online guest lecture
- Practicals conducted via video conference
- A timetable displayed the tasks for each course meeting
- Students registered, selected topics and submitted documents online
- Students proactively used a forum for discussing technical, subject-related questions
- News, surveys, information and links to helpful content rounded out the OPAL course
- The exam was held via the exam platform ONYX
All in all, the course was well-rounded, consisting of much more than just recorded lectures.
