Description

The course was transferred to e-learning through an Opal course, which is nothing unexpected for an online semester to begin with. What makes the course special is its diversification through varied elements:

• Lecture snippets of 15–30 minutes alternated with test questions, which means that there were always activating elements in the imparting of knowledge (approx. 80 test questions were created.)
• Implementation of an online guest lecture
• Practicals held via video conferencing
• A timetable showed what needed to be done on which scheduled course date.
• Enrollment and topic selection for the seminar paper as well as file submission were done online.
• A forum for discussing subject-based questions was actively used.
• Messages, surveys, references and links to further content rounded off the Opal course.
• The examination was conducted using the Onyx examination platform.

Overall, the course was a well-rounded one consisting of much more than just recorded lectures.
