Diplomat for a weekend: elbMUN 2024 takes place in Dresden from April 25 to 28
Dear students from Dresden and all over the world,
Have you always wanted to represent another country at a Model United Nations conference, debate political challenges and draft resolutions while connecting with many other like-minded people? We have exciting news for you! elbMUN 2024 will take place from April 25 to April 28 in Dresden! Under the motto "Towards the Tipping Point - Diplomacy for a Sustainable Future", delegates will discuss exciting topics such as climate change and related migration, water scarcity and the consequences of deep-sea exploration.
As a participant of the conference, you will benefit from guest lectures by experts on the conference topics, sightseeing through Dresden and evening social events, lunch and coffee breaks, goodie bags and much more! You will also receive a certificate of participation and can win various prizes.

About elbMUN
elbMUN (Elbe Model United Nations e.V.) is the name of an initiative founded and run by students that has been aiming to raise interest in the United Nations and encourage students to take a closer look at the UN since 2010. The majority of the association's work goes into the elbMUN conference, an annual simulation of United Nations institutions. Students from all over the world represent the interests of a country assigned to them and try to pass a resolution that could solve a specific global political problem! Another special feature is that the graduation ceremony will take place in the Saxon State Parliament. The Center for International Studies (ZIS) has been working closely with elbMUN for many years.
