First EIB Capstone Project in Cooperation with TU Dresden

Last winter semester, the European Investment Bank (EIB) conducted the first Capstone Project in cooperation with the TU Dresden. Six Master's students from different disciplines spent a semester working on the topic "Regional Railway Transport in Germany after COVID - reduced, recovering or booming?" and conducted extensive research. 

As part of the project, the students from the fields of transport economics, business administration, economics and international relations had the opportunity to present their results in Luxembourg and to get to know the EIB and those responsible for the project personally. The EIB is a financial institution of the European Union and aims to promote sustainable investment to support growth and employment in Europe.

Participating in the EIB Capstone Project offered the students a unique opportunity to apply their skills in practice and deepen their competencies within the project. In addition, the students were able to establish contacts and gain valuable experience.
