Information concerning examinations at TU Dresden
Dear students,
please find the below the information concerning the requirements for exams (semester 2021/22), as outlined by the Prorektor Bildung and the Chief Officer digitalisation and information management (CDIO), as well as the central examination management (Zentrales Prüfungsmanagement). These specifications are binding for the Center of International Studies (ZIS).
As outlined by the Prorektor Bildung in his mail (September 10th 2021), examinations can take place on-site. A strict 3G-rule (vaccinated, recovered, tested) will be enforced, by the teaching staff. The return to on-site examinations will be the standard procedure at TU Dresden again.
Additionally, there will principally be the possibility for alternative methods of examinations, e.g. digital examinations in exceptional cases. The examination offices are responsible to determine the admissibility of in such cases, in consultation with the respective examination boards. Student have no claim for a specific examination mode or method.
The possibility of alternative, especially digital, methods of examination will be subject of new directives, which will put these methods under stricter regulations as in previous semesters. The exact conduct of said directives, will need to be determined further by the responsible authorities of TU Dresden. As the pandemic remains vibrant and dynamic, we ask you to sign a declaration of consent via OPAL, concerning the processing of personal data.
According to the decision by TUD’s senate, the possibility of rejection of examination results has been terminated with regard to the winter semester 2021/22. Results from the summer semester 2021 can still be rejected until March 31th, 2022, by application to the board of examination (Prüfungsausschuss).Further information concerning examination regulations can be found in the universities FAQs.
