DAAD Visiting Scholar: Prof. Dr. Mahmut Tekce

Mahmut Tekce is a DAAD visiting scholar from October to the end of December at the Chair of International Economics. Mahmut is a professor of economics at Marmara University, Istanbul, and has formerly been a member of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), Brussels. He will work on "Trade, institutions and regional inequalities in Turkey." Feel free to contact him at the chair to discuss research and more.

He will also contribute to a reading course on the “Turkish Economy”.  Registration is possible beginning  October 1 until October 19, 2022. Compulsory introduction to the course: October 24, 2022, SCH A 252/U. The seminar will take place on site (Mondays, 11:10 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. (room SCH A 252/U).
