The Center

The Center for International Studies (ZIS) has been established in January 2002 as a Central Academic Unit of TU Dresden. Since October 2002, the responsibility for the study programme "International Relations" has been transferred to the Center for International Studies. In the future, the ZIS is supposed to initiate and coordinate further cross-faculty interdisciplinary study programmes. In research, interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of International Relations should be merged and expanded. Other objectives of ZIS are the continuation and expansion of the promotion of intra‑ and inter-university networking as well as the cooperation with non-university research institutions, public institutions and the private sector.
