The conference is organized by UNU-Flores and the Internationale Beziehungen Dresden e.V.. Sponsors of the event are Oppacher Mineralquellen and the rectorate of TU Dresden (catering). 

The purpose of the IB Association is to promote the study programme "International Relations" at the Dresden University of Technology as well as intercultural cooperation and international exchange. In particular, the association has set itself the task of making the objectives of the degree programme better known to the public, improving the working conditions and career opportunities of students and increasing the exchange of professional experience between students and graduates of the IB degree programme.

UNU-FLORES was founded in 2012 in Dresden with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK) of the Free State of Saxony. UNU's mission is to contribute to solving the pressing global problems of human survival, development and well-being that are of concern to the United Nations, its peoples and Member States through joint research and education.

Oppacher Mineralquellen GmbH & Co. KG is a beverage producer based in Oppach in Saxony. The products offered include mineral water, juices and soft drinks.
