The Institute for Medical Informatics and Biometry (IMB) is part of the Medical Faculty „Carl Gustav Carus“ at the Technische Universität Dresden. The  central research areas of the institute are the following:

The IMB collaborates closely with the Coordinating Centre for Clinical Trials (KKS) Dresden on the design and analysis of clinical trials.
