This accessibility statement applies to all newsletters sent out via TU Dresden’s newsletter tool. The software we use is provided by our partner Clever Elements.
Technische Universität Dresden undertakes every effort to make its website and mobile applications accessible to all in accordance with the provisions of the Accessible Websites Act (BfWebG) and in conjunction with the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).
Drafting of this accessibility statement
This statement was drafted on October 19, 2021, and updated on October 19, 2021. A self-assessment conducted by the unit on October 19, 2021, provides the basis for drafting this accessibility statement.
Compatibility with the requirements laid out by the BITV
Our newsletter tool and the newsletter generated through its use are partially compatible with the requirements of the BfWebG in conjunction with the BITV 2.0, due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions:
Non-accessible content
- The language of the newsletter/email is not provided.
The templates provided for creating the TUD newsletter are made as accessible as technically possible. The editors at TU Dresden are responsible for the accessibility of the newsletter’s content and its distribution. Guidelines on accessibility are provided centrally to qualify all editors to assume this responsibility.
