Research Interests
My main research focusses on behavioral, cognitive and neural mechanisms that affect learning and motivational processes in individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) and / or affective disorders. By that, I want to assess whether Pavlovian cues influence instrumental behaviour in a Pavlovian to instrumental transfer (PIT) task and whether this is affected by cognitive ability and mood. Thereby, I am especially interested in trans-diagnostic mechanisms and the interaction of processes in both SUD and affective disorders.
