Research Interests
The primary focus of my research is meta-control during adolescence. Utilising a longitudinal approach, our objective is to comprehend the development of several mechanisms that underpin adolescent decision-making, including temporal discounting and reversal learning, at both the behavioural and neuronal levels. Additionally, we seek to ascertain whether these mechanisms exert an influence on early alcohol use, and vice versa.
As a foundation for our analyses, we address the methodological challenges inherent in longitudinal approaches and the investigation of interindividual differences, such as the reliability of fMRI data.
