Research Interests
I did my PhD on the develpment of low-field MRI devices, pulse sequences and data evaluation methods to monitor water dynamics in plants.
Since I entered the field of Neuroimaging I am particularly interested in and started working on:
- extraction of anatomical measures from T1 images (e.g. I implemented the ENIGMA Subcortical Segmentation Protocols to extract and visually inspect subcortical structures using FreeSurfer, R and a number of customized HTML scripts - please let me know if this or other ENIGMA protocls are of interest to you)
- optimization of structural and functional brain imaging sequences
- MR safety
