Research Interests
My research investigates how sensitivity to conflict between Pavlovian and instrumental control during PIT (Pavlovian to Instrumental Transfer) is related to interference control. Additionally, I research whether and how Pavlovian cues enhance motivation to consume alcohol or tobacco in participants with substance use disorders. I explore these relationships in human addiction using a variety of methods, which include functional MRI and visual/gustatory conditioning.
