Research Statement
My research focusses on the clinical descriptive and causal-analytic epidemiology, clinical psychological and developmental aspects of the etiology and pathogenic mechanisms (cognitive-affective, behavioral, environmental, neurobiologic) of mental disorders. For this, we conduct large-scale, multi-faceted population-based observational studies as well as experimental/ intervention studies in healthy and clinically affected individuals.
