virTUos conference - DIU

"Spaces and learning environments - perspectives on the design of university teaching"
at the Dresden International University (06./07.11.2023)

The conference Spaces and Learning Environments - Prospects for the Design of University Teaching was dedicated to questions of the
university teaching of the future.

Topics of the conference:

• Architectures of teaching andlearningenvironments
• New formats in the university
• Use of platforms and AI
• Immersion and interaction in open, digital and/or hybrid offerings, examples: Makerspace, OER and TextLab of the SLUB
• Virtual workplaces and co-working spaces of the future
• Connected learning communities

As part of the conference, the project results/learning transfers of the virTUos sub-projects funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education (StIL) from 2021 to 2024 in the funding line "Strengthening university teaching through digitization" were presented and made tangible.

The conference took place in cooperation between the virTUos project and Dresden International University(DIU), with the participation of SLUB Dresden. The venue was DIU.
