We look forward to welcoming you to the Botanical Garden of TU Dresden! The show greenhouses are open from 10 a.m. until the garden closes.
The Boselgarten near Sörnewitz is open from April 1 to October 3 on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.

Directions
The Botanical Garden is located in the center of Dresden, in the immediate vicinity of the Great Garden.
There are no visitor parking spaces. We therefore recommend traveling by bicycle or public transport (Strassburger Platz stop, streetcar lines 1, 2, 4, 10, 12, 13).

Admission to the Botanical Garden is free - donations are welcome.
Accessibility
For visitors with reduced mobility, there is a disabled parking space and a disabled toilet accessible with a Euro key. The main paths of the Botanical Garden are barrier-free. Please also see our more detailed information on accessibility.
Further information
There are benches in the outdoor area of the Botanical Garden, as well as in the Succulent House and in the aquarium of the Tropical House. In summer, seating is available in the potted plant area. Toilets can be found in the entrance area of the tropical house.
Dogs are not permitted in the Botanical Garden (with the exception of guide dogs). Bicycles may not be used in the garden grounds. They can be parked in the entrance area.
Lost property is kept in the administration building. Information by telephone Monday to Friday from 8 am to 3 pm on 0351 4593185 or by e-mail.
Educational offers for visitors
Labels throughout the garden indicate the names and home of the species on display. Information boards on specific individual plants and topics supplement this signage. A QR code can be used to call up English translations and the German text for screen readers for most of the panels.
On an educational trail on the subject of "Bionics", you can find out how nature inspires scientists in their search for ideas for the technology of the future. The educational trail starts about 60 meters after the entrance on the main path(overview map of the bionics educational trail).
The garden guide "Native flora in danger" provides interesting facts about Saxony's endangered plants in the Botanical Garden. They can be recognized by the red label. A DVD about the Botanical Garden and a postcard booklet are also available for sale. You can obtain these materials from Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 15:30 in the garden administration.
Every first and third Sunday of the month, Botanical Garden staff offer public guided tours . The tours are free of charge and registration is not required.
You can also book guided tours for groups (12 or more people). School classes will find a wide range of events tailored to the Saxon curriculum at the Botanical School.
