Public guided tour on April 06, 2025: Spring bloomers

Why do plants manage to survive in the high mountains? How do they defy wind and weather and who visits their flowers in the short summers? This Sunday, district gardener Uwe Wagner will get to the bottom of these and other questions with you. During a public guided tour, you will not only climb the heights of the limestone and silicate Alps, Caucasus, Pyrenees and other mountain ranges with ease, you will also get to know the absolute specialists of the plant kingdom and their clever adaptation strategies. The public, approx. one-hour guided tour takes place on 01.06. at 10 am.
The meeting point is the entrance area of the garden at Stübelallee 2. All public tours are free of charge - donations welcome! Registration is not required.
Please note: The narrow paths of the Alpinum are unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or baby carriages.
