Today: Wild bee excursion June 16, 2025
Wild bee excursion from the Dresden Environmental Center in the Botanical Garden
Our meadows in the city are buzzing and humming. And our wild bees are there too. But what do wild bees actually look like, where do they live and what do they feed on in the city? Why are they so important to us? And what can we do to make things better for them? The BienenBrückenBauen project from the Dresden Environmental Center provides answers to all these questions and imparts a wide range of specialist knowledge on the subject of wild bees. We will take you on an excursion through the Botanical Garden of TU Dresden to look for wild bees together.
Registration is requested as the number of participants is limited to 20 people. If the excursion is not possible due to bad weather, you can look forward to an exciting lecture with many impressive photos and anecdotes about wild bees.
Where? Main entrance of the garden at Stübelallee 2
When? 16.06.2025, 4 - 6 p.m.
Here you can find more information about the project "BienenBrückenBauen".
The excursion takes place as part of the Botanical Garden Week.
