"Wild diversity in the garden" - Botanical Garden Week, June 13-21
From June 13 to 21, 2026, the Botanical Garden Week will take place nationwide by the Association of Botanical Gardens. We are showing the exhibition "Wild Diversity in the Garden", which presents how alive gardens are - beyond the planted diversity! Fungi, mosses, microorganisms, insects and vertebrates can live in our Botanical Gardens and private gardens. Using exciting examples, various groups of organisms are presented and ecological relationships in our gardens that are often overlooked are made visible. In addition, fact sheets present individual habitats in more detail and offer tips for at home. Visitors learn how they can promote biodiversity in their own garden or on their balcony.
Vielfalt lässt sich in Botanischen Gärten beobachten, erleben, genießen. Wie hier im Freilandrevier mit Pflanzenarten aus Sachsen und Thüringen.
