Visit of the Vice-Rector of Research on July 14th, 2021

Since taking office as Vice-Rector of Research at TU Dresden in August 2020, Prof. Rösen-Wolff has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group. On July 14th, 2021, she and her advisor, Dr. Schumm, finally had the chance to get to know the Research Training Group in person. The visit included a guided tour through the facilities, a lively and interactive lecture by Prof. Hurtado and Dr. Martius on the development of the Research Training Group in the past and the future, followed by a brief presentation of all sub-projects of the Research Training Group by the researchers themselves, which was moderated by Prof. Hagen as the second speaker. Two scholarship holders even joined the meeting from a conference they were attending in Athens.

The follow up questions of the Vice-Rector and her great interest in the individual projects and people, but also in the overarching strategy of the Research Training Group, were welcome praise and at the same time motivation for the members of the Research Training Group to work continuously on further development and professionalization.
