Mario Ludwig's successful defense

On October 16, 2020, Mario Ludwig successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Analysis of Hydrogen- Based Energy Storage Pathways ". For the written work, the oral examination, the lecture, and the defense, he received the overall grade magna cum laude. Congratulations from all of us!

The defense took place behind closed doors in the presence of the examination committee, with a member of the committee even being connected virtually. Mr. Ludwig is a scholarship holder from the 1^st Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group and has continued his work with hydrogen as he has transitioned to his professional career. The chair of the examination committee was Prof. Wiesmann from the chair for biomaterials at the Institute for Materials Science. In addition, Prof. Dr. Hesse and Prof. Hurtado acted as first and second reviewers of the work, while Prof. Möst (virtual), Prof. Lippmann, and Prof. Haberstroh made up the rest of the examination board.
