Dr. Matthias Ritter takes over scientific coordination at the Boysen-TUD-Research Training Group
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Matthias Ritter as the new scientific coordinator of the Boysen-TUD-Research Training Group. With him, the central coordination office of the RTG has been fully staffed again since 01.01.2026 and is very well positioned for the upcoming tasks both in the current 4th funding phase and in the planned 5th Research Training Group.
Dr. Ritter most recently worked as a scientific coordinator at the research unit of the Dresden University School, where he worked in an interdisciplinary environment. Prior to this, he held the Chair of School Pedagogy at TU Dresden for two semesters. His academic background is in empirical educational and organizational research; he also has extensive experience in supervising academic qualification and final theses.
In his role, Dr. Ritter is responsible for the central coordination of processes within the RTG, acts as an interface between the stakeholders and external partners involved and is responsible for the organization of the research structure. Dr. Ritter emphasizes:
"I am very much looking forward to further developing the work in the Boysen TUD Research Training Group together with the doctoral students and the researchers involved and actively helping to shape the existing structures."
With a view to the planned continuation of funding and the establishment of a further generation of the Boysen-TUD-Research Training Group, we see Dr. Ritter as an important pillar for the further development of the RTG in terms of content and structure. We are very much looking forward to working together.
