First dissertation of the 3rd RTG submitted
"Perception of Noise in Urban Green Spaces" is the title of the first completed dissertation of the 3rd Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group. Doctoral student Verena Zapf (Project D3) submitted her dissertation to the Faculty of Architecture on August 30, 2022. Her doctoral supervisor is Prof. Catrin Schmidt from the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Chair of Landscape Planning.
Mrs. Zapf started her intensive project and research work as a member of the 3rd generation of the Boysen-TU Dresden Research Training Group on March 1st, 2019, and was thus able to bring it to a successful conclusion with the submission of her doctoral thesis after only a little more than 3 years.
As a farewell, Mrs. Zapf spoiled the members of the Research Training Group with a delicious cake from her own kitchen - a loving gesture of thanks for the friendly working atmosphere during the past years.
We wish Mrs. Zapf every success in her future career, and thank her for her commitment and valuable impulses, which have always helped to foster our special team spirit.
