Members of the RTG awarded research grants from the DAAD
Two doctoral researchers from the Boysen TU Dresden Research Training Group have been awarded research grants from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) covering interdisciplinary research with partner universities abroad.
Ms. Andrea Hauslbauer will work in collaboration with the 3 Revolutions Future Mobility Program at the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS) of the University of California, Davis. During the 6 month project she will be supervised by Prof. Dr. Giovanni Circella and Prof. Dr. Daniel Sperling. Her project will involve work on the adaptation of user behavior to new mobility concepts. Throughout the project, she will be coordinating with the Institute of Transport Planning and Road Traffic under Prof. Dr. Tibor Petzoldt at TU Dresden.
Mr. Sajjad Haider will work in collaboration with the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station. His project will involve exploratory simulations and subsequent analyses of methods to integrate future mobility scenarios into current electricity and transportation methods under the supervision of Prof. Dr. John Walewski from Texas A&M University. He will also remain in coordination with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Schegner from the Institute of Electrical Power Systems and High Voltage Engineering at TU Dresden.
Both scholars are expected to start their research stays in September 2021. We congratulate them both on their well-deserved awards, and best wishes for their research abroad!
