Doctoral student Shiyu Guo gives lecture at the LDIC conference in Bremen
RTG doctoral student Shiyu Guo (Project H2, photo above center) took part in the 10th International Conference on Dynamics in Logistics (LDIC 2026) together with her academic supervisor, Prof. Udo Buscher (Chair of Business Administration, in particular Industrial Management, photo above right). The conference took place from February 25 to 27, 2026 in Bremen.
The LDIC is an established international and interdisciplinary conference organized by the Bremen Research Cluster for Logistics Dynamics (LogDynamics) at the University of Bremen. The conference brings together researchers and practitioners from the fields of logistics, operations research, engineering and computer science.

During the conference, Shiyu Guo presented her research titled "Optimization of Investment and Operations for Green Hydrogen Supply Chains with Salt Cavern Storage". Her study proposes a common optimization framework for investment and operation planning of green hydrogen supply chains integrated with salt cavern storage. The research aims to reduce renewable energy curtailment, improve seasonal energy flexibility and increase the overall economic and operational value of the system.
The presentation was met with great interest from the audience and led to a lively scientific discussion afterwards. In addition to the academic sessions, the conference provided valuable opportunities for academic exchange and international networking with colleagues and experts from around the world.
