Start of Bridging Projects for 2022
As a transition and in preparation for the planned fourth Research Training Group from January 2023, four bridging projects - connecting the generations and topics of the Boysen TU Dresden Research Training Group - will start their work at the beginning of 2022. The planned fourth generation of the group will deal with "Hydrogen Economy - Strategic Element of a Future Green Gas Deal". The topics worked on within the bridging projects are already contributing to the new focus of a possible fourth graduate college. The third group, entitled "Mobility in Transition - Challenges and Solutions for Technology, the Environment and Society" will be completed at the end of this year.
The first two of the four bridge projects will start on February 1st, 2022. Research project BR1 is entitled "Hydrogen4GreenIT", while in BR2 a "Comparative methodology for the development and validation of cryogenic and high-pressure hydrogen storage systems made of fiber-plastic composites in transport and freight traffic" is examined. We warmly welcome two new fellows, Zizhe Wang (BR1) and David Schlegel (BR2), to the team of the Boysen TU Dresden Research Training Group and wish them a fruitful and inspiring stay, including successful research endeavors and the expansion of their professional spectrum with a more interdisciplinary perspective!
